I am a creative developer and the founder of StillTabs, an iOS app and browser extension that takes the addictive parts out of social media.
StillTabs lets people use social media intentionally. It removes the features engineered to maximise engagement (short-form video, infinite scrolling, autoplay and algorithmic recommendations) while preserving the functions people rely on: messaging, search and content from accounts they follow.
Unlike screen-time blockers, which feel restrictive and are routinely disabled, StillTabs keeps the apps useful, so the change lasts. Four levels of control let each user set how strict it is. It is private by design: all processing takes place on the device and no user data is collected.
As founder, I set the product vision and lead a small team that brings it to life. I lead development and design as the primary developer, working alongside a dedicated and talented group who contribute to development, operations, project management and video content. StillTabs would not be what it is without them.
StillTabs launched on the App Store after roughly 350 commits over five months.
Music from brainwaves. A system that turns EEG brainwave data into music in real time, as the data is recorded. I initiated the project, programmed the live audio synthesis, led the creative direction and produced the final submission video. It won first prize in the Programming & Arts category of an international hackathon with more than 800 participants and was featured by the Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences.
CSAI Summaries. Lecture, book and course summaries for the Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence programme at Tilburg University. I write most of them, and the collection is open to contributions from other students. It has passed 5,000 views within the programme. View the summaries.
Beto Beats. I develop cross-platform audio plug-ins, both instruments and effects, in the VST3 and AU formats using C++ and JUCE. The work covers real-time DSP algorithms, low-latency buffer management, parameter automation, interfaces built on JUCE’s component system, and code-signed universal binaries that run reliably across DAWs on Intel, Apple Silicon and Windows.
Beto Beats is also the name under which I release music. I produce, design sound kits and collaborate with recording artists. The two sides inform each other: I use the tools I build in my own productions.

Mortgage Banking Intern, MBH Bank, Budapest, 2025. I built large-scale Python data pipelines with Selenium web scraping and browser automation, collecting and processing property market data for the bank’s internal valuation models. I designed the whole workflow myself, including the cleaning, transformation and validation routines, and documented it so it could be maintained after I left. The result substantially reduced manual data handling.
